Over the summer we have been busy recruiting this year’s awardees to complete their Kilimanjaro Mountain Guide Licence Training. The selection process was carried out by the College of African Wildlife Management and Industry representatives in Tanzania and was completed at the end of September.
Of this year’s 13 awardees 3 are men and 10 women. The women are being funded through our new ‘Mountain Lioness’ project in partnership with Exodus Travels and the men via our fundraising efforts over the last year.
The 13 undertook their guide training between 5th-25th October 2020 and have now been awarded their full licences.
