English Language Training

ROB and International Mountain Explorers Collaborative (IMEC ) have been collaborating over the last year with the college of African Wildlife Management (CAWM)  to develop a conversational English language skills programme designed specifically for mountain guides.

We are delighted to announce that the programme is now being delivered in Arusha to our first students. Over the next year we plan to offer this training free to 90 mountain guides.

It consists of four modules delivered over a four-week period, each focusing on a different aspect of verbal communication in Mountain English with two 90 minute lessons each week.

We invite all mountain guides, those waiting for their guide licence or those who have a confirmed place to start guide training at CAWM in the next year to contact Kelvin Salla, our local representative, for further information on future dates and to book a place.
