New Conversational English Language Course for Mountain Guides

To support our existing awardees further in their career we are delighted to announce the development of our ‘Conversational English for Mountain Guides’ programme in collaboration with International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC), Kilimanjaro Responsible Trekking Organisation, Exodus Travels Foundation and the College of African Wildlife Management. Over the next year, this programme will help 90 existing mountain guides improve their English language skills to enable them to communicate even better with their clients.

This is a four-week programme for mountain guides who are guiding clients in Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Parks and who wish to improve their verbal communication skills in English (talking and listening skills). This comprises four modules, each focusing on a different aspect of verbal communication in English related to guiding in a mountain environment.
