The Robertson Outdoor Bursary is happy to announce Lioness Mountain
Guides Training Scholarships 2022. We are looking to support 16 motivated
and enthusiastic people (12 women and 4 men) who wish to complete their
Mountain Guide Training at the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka
Tanzania in November 2022. Women are highly encouraged to apply.
This year we will be giving priority to candidates nominated by an employer or other professional organisation.
Our awardees will have their tuition fees fully paid, be offered free camping space
at the college camping ground during their training and have the option to loan
camping equipment for free from the African Walking Company.
To be eligible to apply for one of our places you must demonstrate:
• You can communicate in English
• You have worked in a support role (e.g. porter, cook, etc.) on the mountain for at
least six months
• You fulfil the minimum required entry qualifications for this course by the College
of African Wildlife Management, Mweka.
